Keri was great to correspond with. She got back to me in a kindly manner when I had any questions. The crew were fantastic and showed up at the time they said they would. They did excellent work and cleaned up after every shift. I felt comfortable asking any questions that I may have during the process. I couldn’t be happier with the final results and would definitely recommend NewPort Dry Deck. Review posted on Google Business

From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. The team was professional, friendly, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. They paid attention to every detail and kept everything organized, I couldn’t be happier with the new sundeck…The finished product is absolutely amazing and has completely transformed our outdoor space.
I’ll start by saying I don’t do reviews, good or bad, I just don’t. This exception has been made for only one reason; we’ve been truly impressed.
From the initial quote from Keri, site prep, through the execution, project expansion and final result we couldn’t be more pleased. The work crew were completely respectful of our heavily planted deck area (damage to our trees and shrubs was one of our great concerns) and kept a tidy site at the end of each day.
Lovance, one of the business principals, was on hand to offer project expansion options (stairs etc) when it became clear that the existing structure was in jeopardy. Abel, the team lead, took the time to explain production design changes that were necessitated by found damage to our existing structure; no surprises.
Ultimately, we’re just happy and very glad we chose NewPort DryDeck. Review posted on Google Business
Keri and the Newport Dry Deck team are an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, everything is straightforward, professional, and well organized. Their communication is excellent, and they make the entire process easy and stress-free.
I highly recommend Keri and the Newport Dry Deck team and would not hesitate to work with them again on another project. Review posted on Google Business
Second to none! If you are looking for a quality product to cover your deck look no further. This is a one of a kind company with a deck system that not only looks beautiful but it also will save your deck for decades to come. Don’t waste money on other companies. If you have Newport Dry Deck redo your deck all your worries will be gone! Their waterproof material is perfect for BC’s weather (rain). Don’t try and save a couple dollars by going with others. Newport Dry Deck’s material is in a league of their own. Review posted on Google Business
We had such a positive experience working with Keri and the installation team. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with our new patio decking. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Review posted on Google Business
We have enjoyed our Newport Deck for 12 years. The deck still looks great despite full sun exposure in summer and relentless rain the rest of the year. We recently had a technician come over to check on a few small spots that I was concerned about. He applied an extra layer of product and it looks great! They went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a deck coating 👍 Review posted on Google Business
Contractor did a fabulous job on replacing the clear plastic cover on my patio. He was very thorough and also fixed my front door that was not closing properly. He was very good at his job. I had others in my complex that are considering having him come and do some work for them.Highly recommend him for any construction work
Keri and the crew were all very professional from start to finish. Repaired a leaking deck before resurfacing. Looks great seamless. Review posted on Google Business
Great crew! Very respectful and hardworking! Would recommend this company to anyone! Review posted on Google Business
I am very happy with the resurfacing of my deck! All rot taken out and replaced by new plywood and then the dry deck
coating applied on top. Looks like a brand new deck! The work was done quickly and the crew very friendly and hard workers I would recommend this company to anyone!
Thanks again guys!
Both Keri and her partner were terrific.
Keri was very professional when coming to our home, gave us a fair quote and was willing to work a bit on price. Her partner did a great job on our patio, so impressed how it looks.
No mess very clean and organized, so happy. Highly recommend. Review posted on Google Business
My wife and I are very happy with the work NewPort Dry Deck did for our deck. The crew was professional and efficient.
We really appreciate your prompt service on the deck repair. We’re also very pleased that the work was covered under your warranty program and with the quality of the repair.
I had briefly considered attempting a do-it-yourself fix using a two-part epoxy, given the location along the patio door frame and deck edge, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to achieve the colour match you were able to deliver.
Thank you again for the excellent service.
We chose Newport Dry Deck as the surface for our deck because of its seamless waterproof system and the ability to properly repair it over time rather than just patching problem areas. That gave us a lot of confidence in the long-term durability. On top of that, the finished result looks fantastic. Its been a year, and we’ve had no issues.
The experience working with the team was excellent. They were incredibly responsive to our questions throughout the process, which made everything feel smooth and well-managed. The installation crew was equally impressive — fast, efficient, and very polite while on-site.
Overall, we’re very happy with both the product and the service, and would definitely recommend Newport Dry Deck to others looking for a reliable, high-quality deck solution. Review posted on Google Business
I had a coating applied to my front stairs and the job was well done. The team was accommodating, especially with ensuring the colour was not too dark, which was an initial concern. Great job overall. Review posted on Google Business
Quick and easy, they tarped area incase of rain. Happy with result, better than fiberglass. Review posted on Google Business
Great job on repairing and resurfacing our deck and rebuilding our stairs in very poor weather. Everything looks great! Highly recommended alternative to standard vinyl decking! Review posted on Google Business
Keri and Lovens provide exceptional service. They are punctual, respectful, pay attention to details, and leave a clean jobsite throughout. I would highly recommend them for all of your deck repairs. Great family company! Review posted on Google Business
We had Newport come and redo our decks in 2022. They were very professional, well priced and the decks look beautiful. It is now almost 2026, we live in a float home and these decks stand up against the elements and stay looking brand new. I highly recommend. Review posted on Google Business
Just had my deck done by Newport Dry deck. I’ve been wanting to get this done for a couple of years. The wood had been rotting, and it was just a pain to keep repairing and painting every couple years. So when I got introduced to Keri I really wanted to check out her product which is not vinyl. I couldn’t be more happier with the end result. It only took a couple of days to get the job done. The workers were so efficient and skilled. I highly recommend having a conversation with Keri and see how she can help. Review posted on Google Business
We recently had the pleasure of working with NewPort on a deck resurfacing project involving several units in our strata. From start to finish, we were thoroughly impressed – not only with the high quality of the finished work, but also with the professionalism, responsiveness, and efficiency of the entire team. NewPort was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both their team and the excellent product they install. Review posted on Google Business
Keri & L are true professionals.
L went the extra mile to correct an imperfection that he detected & made sure that the job was perfect. We highly recommend Newport Dry Deck. Review posted on Google Business
We just had our 25-year-old vinyl deck surface replaced last week by Newport Dry Decks. Lovance and his team worked efficiently and carefully, and he and Keri communicated well to let us know what was happening when. The deck looks GREAT now, and we appreciate the increased durability and improved deck drainage (i.e., no seam bumps) with the new surface. Review posted on Google Business
I recently worked with the Newport Dry Deck team on a full deck resurfacing, fascia board replacement, new railings and stairs. They were a pleasure to work with and provided clear communication throughout the process. They gave us an in-depth quote up front so we knew what to expect. On-site, the workers were knowledgeable, polite and worked hard to get the job done on schedule. We are very happy with the new deck (it’s beautiful!) and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Review posted on Google Business
Keri and Lovens’ product is not only excellent but they are themselves excellent at Customer Service.
I explain: Back in 2013, Keri replaced our deck. Six years later, in the Fall of 2019, we had a few cracks on the deck that couldn’t be really repaired so Newport Dry Deck decided to totally redo the deck at no cost us!
Wait, it’s not finished: last week I noticed a piece of the deck flashing had cracked and needed attention. I emailed Keri and she replied within 24 hours telling me Lovens would come by to assess the situation. He came in today, fixed the flashing at no cost, even though I wanted to pay for the repair!
In the end, the decking material has stood the test of time for now 6+ years and our deck still looks amazing! I highly recommend Keri, Lovens and the team at Newport Dry Deck for any deck replacement! You can trust they will take care of you and your decking needs 100%.
Way to go Newport Dry Deck! Review posted on Google Business
If you want the best deck surface out there call Keri and Lovance at NewPort Dry Deck! Keri and Lovance are some of the nicest most professional, down to earth , good people you will ever meet in your life. We hired Keri and her crew to redo our aging Vinyl surfaced deck and build us some stairs off the deck to the back yard. My wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased at how well everything turned out. Their crew genuinely cares on how the final project will present and turn out, as if it was their own home. There are zero surprises with them. They communicate well, and show up when they say they are going to show up and will finish the job when they say they are going to. If there are any issues they will communicate it to you well in advance. I can’t say I am a fan of the standard issue vinyl deck with seams, vinyl will eventually wear out and tear . If you want a beautiful , seamless, fully waterproof surface for your deck do yourself a favor and call Keri and check out their system. Based on some of the quotes I got for deck resurface, NewPort DryDeck seamless product was in the same ballpark as the vinyl stuff ! Thanks again Keri and Lovance for an outstanding job. If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. We had our deck done a year ago and couldn’t be happier! They were able to accommodate our tight timeline and the results were spectacular. I noticed a cut on the deck recently and called them back to fix. Not only did they come by the next day to fix it, I couldn’t even see where the cut was anymore. The fix was that seamless! I highly recommend Newport Dry Deck over anybody else. Thank you Newport Dry Deck team you guys are amazing and so pleasant to work with!!! Review posted on Google Business
I had the pleasure of working with Keri and Lovens. Amazing people match by an amazing product. The communication and coordination throughout the project was next to none.. They are very professional and know their stuff. The product is far superior to any vinyl I researched and the final product looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Newport Dry Deck to anyone looking for a top quality deck finish. Thank you Keri and Lovens it was an absolute joy working with you. Review posted on Google Business
I had my original Newport Drydeck done in 2015 and over the years there were a couple of areas where the coating was coming off (our deck is west facing and gets very hot!). I reached out in the spring to Kerri at Newport and without hesitation, she had someone come out to do a repair and complete recoating of the surface. The employee who came to do the job was so professional and pleasant and did what he said he’d do and was there when he said he’d be! It’s so great when a company actually honours their guarantee and does what they say they’ll do!! So happy with my “new” deck and so happy with Newport Dry Deck 👍🏻 Review posted on Google Business
We get called out to install railings on the finished decks that Keri and her team complete. I, along with all of Keri’s clients, can attest to the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that is evident in every project they undertake. From the precision of their work to their commitment to ensuring every deck is flawless, Keri and her team consistently exceed expectations. Review posted on Google Business
Keri, I would like to share with you and L an email we got from one of our owners (below). L will know which owner it is. Marsha.
“I want to let the council know how impressed we are with the work ethics of the contractors working on the balconies above us. They are finished for the second day of work and our patio looks better than when they started working on Friday and they are not even totally finished. Congratulations on choosing an excellent contractor!”
I can’t say enough about the team at NewPort Dry Deck, you guys and gals have done another outstanding job! I first had NewPort out back in 2020 to do my deck after the old vinyl decking finally packed it in. I contacted Keri again last the fall to discuss an addition that I was making to my original deck. Both Keri and Lovens were amazing with their help and guidance so that I could ensure that they could carry on with the coating from where the original left off. When they came out in mid-April 2024 to do the addition, they did another amazing job. Lovens was out first to prep the job, and noticed a spot or two on my original deck that he felt needed a little touch up, which he took care of without hesitation. Over the next two days Lovens and Laura installed the new decking, and when all was said and done, the tie in was perfect. The deck looks absolutely amazing, and is getting positive comments from all who have seen it. I couldn’t be happier with quality of work and professionalism displayed by the NewPort team. Thanks again to Keri, Lovens, and Laura! Review posted on Google Business
Newport Dry Deck is the best !! 1- year after install ! They ripped off the 2 year old vinyl product that was leaking from my deck and laid down their leak proof coating over the cleaned and patched plywood. They did this work over a period of inclement weather by tarping over the deck.
The new deck is a year young now and looks like it was just put down yesterday.
This company understands quality and right from the initial greet to the technical install, all effort is made to supply a great product ! The service and customer response is one of the best I have experienced. I would recommend their work and product to anyone wanting a great looking and durable deck that will last for years.
Thanks to all at Newport Dry Deck…. you guys rock ! 🔥1 Review posted on Google Business
Our existing deck had a fibreglass coating that was in very poor condition and needed replacing. After getting quotes for 2 or 3 different coating options from different firms, we decided to pursue the Omega Stone option with Newport Dry Deck. We visited the owner’s home to see their existing decks and learn more about the company and the process. We were very impressed and decided to proceed with them. First of all, let me say the work ethic, the attention to detail and the focus on the quality of the crew was OUTSTANDING. I can’t say enough good things about them. I was so impressed. There were several pockets of rot that were not visible until they started the demo of the old deck plus there were a couple of structural issues they uncovered in the process. All were repaired far beyond what I expected. They pay attention to what is in the best interests of the client and the way they would deal with challenges if it were their own home. We loved the team and absolutely love the finished deck. I would not hesitate in recommending them.
Keri and her crew were fantastic to work with. Our old deck was looking pretty bad, and now it looks great. The job was done on time and they cleaned up everything. Even put our deck furniture and BBQ back on the deck for us.
I highly recommend New Port Dry Deck.

We are pleased to recommend NewPort Dry Deck to anyone considering a deck covering, whether on a new deck or replacing an old one. Our old vinyl deck covering needed to be replaced due to the plywood under a part of it having partially rotted due to water seepage.
You were totally professional from the first phone call to the final billing – thorough, accessible and accommodating. Lovens provided necessary assurance. The deck could be fully typed such that it would be rainproof. That was tested as the tarps did their job through the wind and rain of a horrendous ‘atmospheric’ river storm.
Your crew, Abel and Simon, arrived when expected, worked quickly and expertly, explained to us how they planned to reconstruct the rotted area and were respectful and easy to talk with. They paid attention to all the details, including showing us how the new covering wood avoid the ceiling problems we had before and cleaning up the area when the job was done. Their skills and work ethic are a credit to your company.
The end results look great, including all the finicky details around edges, corners and railing.
Finally, the invoice was for exactly what was quoted, even though I suspect there was more work than anticipated in the deck structure restoration. As my wife said this morning, this project has gone the best of the several we’ve undertaken over our 50+ years in the place. I agree.
Thank you very much for a great job!
Great experience and great team and company to know. The clear communications and replies in a reasonable time are one of my top priorities when selecting which company to do any home repair and Newport Dry Deck, Keri and her team, all of them deserve 5 stars. Also, In addition to the excellent communication, the professional and excellent deck repair, the quality of work, the subsequent deck coating with OmegaDeck and the deck surface look after completion , all were amazing. Visiting friends and families were very impressed and requested Newport Dry deck contact info. Thank you again to Keri and her team for the great experience. Review posted on Better Business Bureau
What a great experience! The whole crew was super friendly. I absolutely love my deck. I now have my own personal “beach” in my backyard! Thank you!
We have a large “L” shaped deck with a curb and interior drains with much of it over living space. The old roll on product held up pretty well over the years, but it needed replacing especially since we recently had a hot tub removed from it. It was a big job so we wanted a professional group to do it.
Vinyl covering was not even a consideration for 2 reasons. Those installers would require all the plywood to be replaced, at a huge cost, for their warranty to be valid. Secondly, my wife doesn’t like all the torched seems that the vinyl would require on our deck.
Enter NewPort Dry Deck. They came highly recommended for applying a polyurethane product that is both waterproof and durable. We are so glad we went with this company because they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. All their people are personable, knowledgeable and professional. Review posted on Google Business
Amazing product, love the durability and texture. The team paid close attention to the details and were very easy to work with.
The crew was efficient and professional in how they performed the work. From start to completion, they gave me “peace of mind” as they did the job per their quote. Would highly recommend them!
Excellent service from start to finish! New Port Dry Deck crew was so good, went beyond our expectations. Our Omega stone deck looks wonderful! We highly recommend New Port Dry Deck. Review posted on Google Business
We are extremely happy with our deck that was done for us last month. New port was recommended both by a friend and in an online moms group. When they came for a quote, we were impressed with their knowledge and organization. The works was done quickly and we were really impressed with their employees. I have cancer and they were able to be flexible and were very kind to our family. We highly recommend them! Review posted on Google Business
So happy with the work and service of this company. From the Quote by Keri to the work done everything was first rate. Our deck was repaired before the new surface was applied and the team did a lot of extras along the way. They delivered everything promised and then some. A year after install we had an issue with 1 of the rails and a piece of glass and they repaired everything promptly and without added cost. They really stand behind their work and are so pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend them! Review posted on Google Business
I just had my old worn out vinyl deck surface replaced by Newport Dry Deck. Keri was so responsive throughout the process. We had some rot on part of the deck that they were able to spot repair before putting the surface down. It looks so so so much nicer than vinyl. The weather was not perfect during our installation but they tarped the entire deck and we’re able to work through the rain. The team that did the install were fast and efficient and very fun! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a waterproof solution for your deck. It is superior alternative to vinyl in my opinion and I am thrilled that I found them. I look forward to enjoying our new deck next summer. Thanks Newport!! Review posted on Google Business
Newport dry deck Inc completed my deck last week. I was very much impressed with how overall deck was completed. Overall from estimation to completion of the deck was done very well. Estimate was very accurate, They did what they said, they completed two decks + stair in just 5 days. Project planning and scheduling of the staff was very impressive, staff had excellent work ethics, Everyday when they leave they make sure it is clean and not leaving any mess behind . I had pool in back yard so they took extra care so no construction waste or dust goes in pool.
One thing I like the most is I don’t have to oversight , they do right thing and one can trust that they will provide best possible out come of the project. If you are looking to get your deck done, I highly recommend Newport dry deck inc. Review posted on Google Business
Professional services, great family run business.
The finished product is stellar.
I have a concrete deck/patio that needed to be water proofed and sealed right.
This is the product needed.
I’ll give an update after the either rain season.
I’m certain that it will perform as promised. Review posted on Google Business
Hi there my wife and I recently ran into a representative of Newport Dry Deck. They remembered us and asked how the work they had done for us eight years ago was holding up. So never too late to put in a good word for a great product.
Until last year when we finally got around to putting a roof over it our back deck was uncovered, north facing and surrounded by multiple trees. It took a good beating every year and aside from a twice yearly power wash and a bit of scrubbing in the odd place it has required no maintenance.
We also have large heavy half wine barrels full of plants and they along with other planters and furniture have been relocated and dragged around the deck all these years. Happy to say there is not a mark or tear on any of the deck surface. This product seems indestructible and has maintained it’s good looks in spite of the wear and tear we have subjected it to.
We would heartily recommend it to anyone looking for this type of deck covering. Not the cheapest option out there but worth everything you pay for! Review posted on Google Business
After much research, I hired this company to resurface my 900 sq ft deck, half of which was 50 years old and the other half 30 years. This is a complex deck with a complex history (tar, vinyl, hypalon, and old repairts). The location is very hard on a deck – with large coniferous trees surrounding it and generously providing continuous contaminants to remove. The company worked with me so that I was able to keep the cost to my budget by doing some of the carpentry and old surface removal/dispposal myself. I was very pleased with the final result, but have waited a year to post a review in order to see how it held up through an annual maintenance cycle. It is excellent – as easy to clean as claimed in the promotional material. There are no signs of any bonding or other issues. If you plan on keeping your house for the longer term (more than 10-15 years), then this is the product and installer I recommend. Review posted on HomeStars
There were no surprises with NewPort Dry Deck’s work: they started and completed the job on the dates that they had promised; there were no added costs; their crew was friendly and respectful of our property and the deck looks fantastic! The best surprise was that they left the area cleaner than they found it! We would highly recommend this company. Review posted on Google Business
Newport Drydecks provided an innovative service to resurface our deck without removing the railings which we wanted to keep. Repairs to the deck were done as a part of deck preparation. We especially appreciated the cheerful and professional approach of the owners and staff. We are happy to recommend NewPort to anyone considering a deck resurfacing. Review posted on Google Business
We are very pleased with our Newport Dry Deck finish. Having used this product before we can vouch for its durability. The fun and friendly personalities of the people providing the product was an unexpected bonus. We advise others that they will be surprised at the strength of this product, as well as the attractive finish. Review posted on Google Business
We are 100% satisfied with our Omega Stone deck! The install required repairs and everything was completed professionally in a timely manner. We are happy to recommend this company to anyone wanting good service and a beautiful and lasting deck surface. Review posted on Google Business
Awesome job done on my old deck. They basically turned an more than 30 yrs old flaky old beat up large deck which also happened the roof of a leaking garage to an gorgeous water proof deck. In addition, the team were great in explaining the science of each of the steps they were doing to applying their product during the process. Now my son has this new “playground” and my next question is what to decorate the deck to match the gorgeous finish they made. Review posted on Google Business
Great service, great product. I love it when professionals show up to do a job, and they are indeed pros. Roberto Vairo Port Moody. Review posted on HomeStars
Our deck was a mess and ended up being structurally a problem as well. The crew from Newport Dry Deck kept us informed every step of the way, and ensured that not only does our deck look amazing, but it is now structurally sound. The ant and wasp problems (and the posts that were damaged) have all been resolved, and we look forward to spending many long years enjoying our beautiful, waterproofed and durable deck. Also, the crew was on time, polite, reliable and did exactly what they said they would, which has not always been our experience with house improvement work we’ve had done in the past. If you are looking for a family-owned and run business with skilled people who genuinely seem to care, I would most definitely recommend Newport Dry Deck. Review posted on Google Business
We had a large hexagon deck resurfacing. The Newport team removed the old fiberglass, did some minor wood repairs under it, jacked up the roof to replace the bottom of the wood support column that had rot. The team worked quickly and efficiently and amicably to get the job done in two days. I really enjoyed working with them. The finish is lovely with no seams, and a beautiful surface. Thanks to Keri who organized it and the team that did the work! Well done! We are now waiting for new aluminum railings to be installed. Review posted on HomeStars

The surface on our 460 sq ft deck needed to be redone and we decided to hire professionals this time instead of doing it ourselves. We read the reviews on Homestars and picked the best one – New Port Drydeck. We weren’t disappointed. Keri responded quickly to our request for a quote and put us on their schedule. The team turned up and started work. Communication was excellent. Anytime they found an issue they came and told us right away. The issues required extensive repairs. They were efficient and very tidy. They replaced some of the plywood decking that was water damaged. They even fixed a structural flaw in one of the deck supports that was probably original construction. We’re very pleased with the end product. The Omegastone coating looks great. We had our sundeck refurbished two years ago and it is the most fantastic deck coating out there. Not only is it seamless but so very easy to keep clean. We have just referred our niece and nephew and they also are extremely pleased with your product. The crew is very professional and the clean up was more than I had expected. I will be referring others to this company. Frank & Linda. Review posted on HomeStars
Can not thank Keri and her team enough, btw, a family business, it clearly showed. We were in distress as the previous home owners had done a patch job on our MB deck that I was not aware of. To say the least they put a band-aid on rot. With the recent heavy rains, the deck leaked into our front room, once I tracked the source I reached out to New Port and met with Keri. A quick quote and timing with Mother Nature and we had the repair completed. The peace of mind and the finish is excellent, the prep work was incredible, the deck was resheeted and shimmed for proper drainage. The final waterproofing was done and with the colour we chose, it compliments our home – looks amazing. I would reccommend New Port Dry Deck always. Thank you Keri and team. Our large multi-level sundeck is 40 years old and during that time we have never been satisfied with the deck surface. Over the years we have replaced the original vinyl decking with fibreglass decking and later with a polymer coating. We were dissatisfied every time. Our deck blistered in the sun and drained poorly in winter. Now at last we have a beautiful and durable decking surface from Newport. The workmanship is outstanding, and the workers took great care to re-grade the slope so that rain water does not pool. And the clincher for me was the warranty. I will never again have to concern myself with deck replacement in the future. Thanks to the Newport team! Review posted on HomeStars
Keri and her team did a fabulous job on our ~450 SQ. FT. deck. They replaced all necessary wood, were hard working and friendly and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result. We so wanted to avoid using vinyl. Omegastone looks amazing, non-slip and gorgeous. We recommend Newport to anyone and no, we don’t have any personal relationship with them, this is an honest review based on our experience. Review posted on HomeStars
Very professional, very clean, very satisfied with the end product. Had three initial quotes, but Keri won me over with her company’s product and the 20 year warranty which nobody else could match and the price was under one of the vinyl quotes with only a ten year guarantee. Highly recommend them. Review posted on HomeStars
