Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. NewPort Dry Deck was very easy and professional to work with. Keri was prompt on a site visit and submitting a quote. The team started on time and stay on the project until completed. We are very happy with the end product, highly recommend this company and their product.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'll start by saying I don't do reviews, good or bad, I just don't. This exception has been made for only one reason; we've been truly impressed.
From the initial quote from Keri, site prep, through the execution, project expansion and final result we couldn't be more pleased. The work crew were completely respectful of our heavily planted deck area (damage to our trees and shrubs was one of our great concerns) and kept a tidy site at the end of each day.
Lovance, one of the business principals, was on hand to offer project expansion options (stairs etc) when it became clear that the existing structure was in jeopardy. Abel, the team lead, took the time to explain production design changes that were necessitated by found damage to our existing structure; no surprises.
Ultimately, we're just happy and very glad we chose NewPort DryDeck.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Second to none! If you are looking for a quality product to cover your deck look no further. This is a one of a kind company with a deck system that not only looks beautiful but it also will save your deck for decades to come. Don’t waste money on other companies. If you have Newport Dry Deck redo your deck all your worries will be gone! Their waterproof material is perfect for BC’s weather (rain). Don’t try and save a couple dollars by going with others. Newport Dry Deck’s material is in a league of their own.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have enjoyed our Newport Deck for 12 years. The deck still looks great despite full sun exposure in summer and relentless rain the rest of the year. We recently had a technician come over to check on a few small spots that I was concerned about. He applied an extra layer of product and it looks great! They went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a deck coating 👍

OmegaDeck — Waterproof Decking Built To Last!

OmegaDeck is our signature NewPort Dry Deck polyurethane waterproof decking solution. Our Waterproof Polyurethane Decks are built to last for years in the toughest of weather conditions. Ask us about our 20-year warranty.

Backyard deck waterproofing with OmegaStone

In the world of decks, it’s not uncommon to have to replace or undertake a costly deck repair in under 10 years. Especially in places like the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Our wet weather and distinct seasons are a true test for any deck surface … especially vinyl decks and wood decks.

Rips, tears, rot, mold and other damage from wear and tear can mean your vinyl or wood deck has a short lifespan.

That all changes with our OmegaDeck Waterproof Decks. They are built to last!

You can even use your favourite cleaner and any brush you want! It cleans so easily that you will not need to power wash.

The OmegaDeck Waterproof Decking 4 Step Process

A deck that lasts takes time... Here's how it works.

Step 1: Deck Repair in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey by NewPort Dry Deck

Step 1

Remove the vinyl or existing membrane, do pocket repairs if needed. Grind the deck, prep the plywood joints. Tape all joints; let them dry for about 1 hour. Trowel on the polyurethane base coat.

Step 3 - Polyurethane Deck Waterproofing Application by Trowel by NewPort Dry Deck

Step 2

Apply the urethane colour coat and add the acrylic flakes onto the wet surface. The flakes give the surface a slip resistant texture, and the colour of your choice. This needs to dry overnight.

Step 3 - Work on Deck Membrane to Ensure Surface is Smooth Enough & Easy To Clean

Step 3

We remove the excess flakes. Whatever has bonded to the colour coat is there to stay. We give the surface a light sanding to ensure that it’s textured but still smooth enough and easy to clean.

OmegaStone - Application of Polyurethane Waterproof Deck Membrane by NewPort Dry Deck

Step 4

The clear coat is applied. This also needs to dry overnight. These steps are not always done in consecutive days, weather is a factor and timing is important.

We are extremely happy with our deck that was done for us last month. New port was recommended both by a friend and in an online moms group. When they came for a quote, we were impressed with their knowledge and organization. The works was done quickly and we were really impressed with their employees. I have cancer and they were able to be flexible and were very kind to our family. We highly recommend them!
